PBP x CC Plantable Garden

Bring hands-on learning to life with the Plantable Garden Bed  from Project Based Primary® & Cureighted Co. This visual discrimination activity is a playful, engaging way to build critical thinking, attention to detail, fine motor skills, language and vocabulary, and early math skills through interactive garden-themed play.

Designed for preschool through early elementary learners, this activity invites children to “plant” a variety of garden items into a garden bed by carefully observing, comparing, and matching visual details. As students recreate each garden layout, they strengthen essential cognitive and visual processing skills, all while feeling like they’re tending their very own garden.

This activity combines purposeful skill-building with imaginative play, and has built-in differentiation across the 24 task cards, students can grow their skills over time, making this a resource you’ll reach for again and again!

*This material is not for use in sensory trays or play that involve play dough, sensory sand, rice, pasta or other foreign objects that could become lodged to the plantable spaces making the manipulative pieces unable to be “planted” or stuck in the drawer space that does not come out.

Materials, Sizing, & Care

These minis are made from PLA, an eco-friendly, plant-based plastic. 

To wash: Use warm water and soap. Do not use water on the garden bed itself or the drawer. Wipe with a wet cloth to clean. Dry immediately.

Storage: Keep out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Direct heat and sunlight can warp or damage this product. Store in a cool, dry place.
